Gestiona-t, a provider of Adaptive Corporate Services in Spain, has announced its entry into Portugal as part of its ambitious international expansion plan. This move into the Portuguese market is aligned with its medium- and long-term strategy, which envisions strengthening its presence in the Iberian Peninsula and building bridges with Latin America, a region the company considers key to its international growth.
Founded in Madrid in 2013, Gestiona-t began its journey as a provider of Alternative Legal Services (ALSP). However, after more than a decade of evolution, the company has taken a step further and redefined its value proposition by creating a new category: Adaptive Corporate Services, designed to address today’s organizational challenges.
This transformation stems from a clear realization: companies are no longer seeking only more efficient legal solutions, but comprehensive, dynamic corporate services aligned with their strategic objectives. In this new approach, the legal component is combined with technological, operational, and management capabilities to deliver agile, tailored, and scalable responses.
“The ALSP model was a revolution in questioning the rigidity of traditional law firms, but today the market demands more: solutions that adapt to each organization in real time, with a holistic vision and integration capacity,” the company states.
The role of the Adaptive Corporate Provider thus represents a new standard in the delivery of business services, where flexibility, efficiency, and operational proximity make the difference. It is not merely a new label, but a strategic evolution that positions Gestiona-t as a pioneer in an emerging model set to transform how organizations manage their legal, administrative, and corporate functions.
In this sense, the move into Portugal is mainly driven by two factors: on the one hand, the evolution of its client portfolio—many of whom are expanding into the Portuguese market or already operate transnationally—and, on the other, the country’s strategic appeal as a destination for foreign investment in Europe, which demands an efficient, adaptable legal and administrative offering with local expertise. “Part of our team in Spain had already been supporting operations in Portugal, so the decision to open an office in Lisbon responds both to an operational need and to a logical step within our international expansion plan,” the company explains.
The new office is headed by Jesús Luis Bescos Sinde, economist and PhD in Applied Economics, with extensive experience in academia and business consulting. He has worked in both Spain and Portugal, facilitating integration in a context the company seeks to treat as a single operational environment from a corporate services standpoint. Consequently, the model implemented in Portugal will replicate the Spanish framework—shared methodologies, processes, and standards—while adapting to local needs.
“Our arrival in Portugal is a natural evolution of our model. It is not just about opening a new office, but about strengthening a different way of understanding corporate services in an international context. Our expansion responds to client demand for efficiency, reliability, and adaptability on both sides of the border,” says Francisco Gómez Fructuoso, CEO of Gestiona-t. “Moreover, this step is part of a broader vision: to provide solutions that ensure legal certainty and regulatory compliance in an increasingly complex environment. Adaptability is no longer just a competitive advantage—it is an imperative. This growth reaffirms our commitment to evolving with the market and consolidating our position as a global benchmark in adaptive corporate services,” he adds.
Although the company has not disclosed the identity of its clients in Portugal—due to confidentiality reasons—it has revealed that they include law firms, wealth management structures, and funds requiring stable support in their cross-border operations. In this regard, Gestiona-t emphasizes that “we do not compete with traditional law firms, but act as a complementary partner, enabling them to focus on their core legal practice while delegating administrative, tax, or compliance functions.”
Currently, Gestiona-t has a team of more than 100 professionals and a client base of over 2,000. Since its creation, its growth has been steady, with a strong presence in regulated sectors and organizations with high administrative or documentary demands. The company serves both national and international clients and, in recent years, has pursued an active policy of supporting foreign investors in their entry into Spain—an approach it now aims to replicate in Portugal.
With the opening in Lisbon, Gestiona-t strengthens its commitment to a decentralized, flexible, and client-centered model that combines technical expertise with efficient processes and the ability to operate under international compliance standards. The company underscores that this move “is not an isolated event, but the first step in a new expansion phase, in which we plan to extend operations to Italy and subsequently enter the Latin American market with a direct presence.”
